Although not what I intend for the ultimate use of my M116A3 (it, hopefully, will become a camping trailer) I used it today to haul some new student desks over to my wife's school. Using my truck bed and the trailer made it a one trip job when it would have been a two trip job without it.

No Problem. Also, ref. the wheels. You'll probably want to stick with the stock type steel wheels. Aluminum or alloy "rims" might work but even if they do they will probably require different lug nuts.

Since it's not a full-on restoration I don't think I'd go that far. Just thought it would be nice to stick one back on there if someone had some sitting around.

Have checked eBay, actually got another type of data plate off there, but good idea on posting in the parts wanted section. Will do that.

On my M116A3 on the curb side of the tongue aft of the tie-down data plate, there was a decal of some type that was faded and peeling off. I couldn't read any of it so I scraped the remnants off. I got to wondering what that decal was and wondered if there was somewhere I could get a duplicate...

Thanks for the response. Brakes aren't working yet, just starting to work on that. The Master Cylinder is empty but it looks clean (no corrosion). There was a bunch of silicone all over the banjo bolt and MC block so I'm thinking that it may have a bad washer and it all leaked out there and...

Yeah...I'm not sure that would work for very long. As the tires flexed the paint would flake off.
