Thanks, I too am thinking a wiring fault. As it's not all the time and related to bumps. It all started when I fitted new batteries, but I have been through the wiring in the battery box. I'll clean the plugs and retest the wiring as you have both said. Thanks.

Got the TCM code and it's flashing up 71 which is a Engine Speed Sensor fault.

The circuit breaker behind the battery box, what does this control? I can only find mention of it as something to do with the transmission. Anyone able to help here? Thanks

Thanks all, I bought a siphon pump and took out 1.5ltr from the auto-box. Gear box is happier but still wanting to change down alot and not drop into OD unless I ease off the throttle. Thinking the issue is the throttle sensor, so that is my next port of call. Tha ks again guys.
