    M1010 DUVAC Removal Plan "B"

I did this mod recently and it works great. Here is a pic before the mod, I circled the 12V Bus in red. The Orange wire should be removed and taped . I'll take some pics tonight if I get back home with sunlight left

    New to me M1010

The charging system seems to be in order, but I am still figuring out the wiring to each light as well as the dash relays. The little toy M1010 came from eBay. It's made by an Austrian company called Trident. I found a spot online that has them in stock, it is here...

Updates on the campbulance - things I have replaced - - Oil pan gasket, oil filter, oil replaced - Front and rear diff gaskets replaced, along with new fluid. I intended to buy twice the amount of fluid that I needed so I had enough on hand for whenever I change the fluid again, but I derped...

    New to me M1010

I love the photo! Looks like a heck of a time, hopefully you had a tractor or a deuce to drag 'Push' out! I think I actually saw a video of this as it happened on YouTube while searching for other M1010s. Thank you for the complement on the name, it always seems to make people laugh. Its...

    New to me M1010

Just as Plowboy said, I pretty much just plan to rock it back and forth in congested marketplaces with the aforementioned hot girlfriend (though now that you mention it I'll consider a cold hearted girlfriend for the summer months). My plan for this beauty is to turn her into The...

    New to me M1010

Hey Steel Soldiers- I have frequented this site just for entertainment purposes for years. Finally I have made my first step into the Military Vehicle world. I got myself a 1984 M1010 Ambulance. 32k miles, straight body, no rust, great shape. Typical charging system problems, bad...

    M1010 DUVAC Removal Plan "B"

Great info here guys. I just acquired an M1010 myself and am going to get this Mod done to see if it helps cure her charging ailment. Will one of the standard CUCV alternators work? The 12V 100amp that looks like this: http://d3d71ba2asa5oz.cloudfront.net/32001220/images/9185691-wm.jpg I...

12 pin NATO trailer plug adapters

I wish I had the ingenuity to make an adapter myself, but noobs like me must pay the skillful like you for what we dont know how to do ourselves. Im sure you could make a few bucks if you made some adapters and sold em on SS.

12 pin NATO trailer plug adapters

7 RV to 12 pin NATO adapter I realize this is a fairly old thread, but since I was still searching for an adapter I figured others might be as well. I found an adapter available, but it comes with a solid price tag ($145). Here's the link: ADAPTER-7RV VEH TO NATO TRAILER - Trailer Repair Parts

Who here is in college or high school?

I'm currently 22, and I drove an H1 my senior year in high school.. It was the civi version, but I painted it flat green and added a military snorkel, extended exhaust, grill guard, winch, safari guard, wheels and tires. I even had the shovel, ax, and pick-ax under the rear. It was...
