    What could cause this EMERGENCY

Even if you don't have to have a CDL, you have to have an air brake endorsement to run a vehicle with air brakes. I have a non-CDL but had to get an air brake endorsement to legally drive my MV - This poster showed us why.

Total width of 796 bolster trailer

I have an idea for a project, and was thinking of using a bolster trailer for it. I am a farmer and want to use a trailer to haul around my wide crop sprayer. I'd have to build a cradle for the bolster trailer, but If the outside width of the trailer is more than 96 inches my sprayer wouldn't...

tachograph better than speedo and tach?

I hate the Tachograph. There's too much going on, and it's always busted. If one part of it is screwed up, it messes up all the rest of it. The power drain on it causes the batteries on MVs you buy to be completely ruined 99% of the time. We are always having trouble with our tachographs...

Need heater motor for am general m915

Got it. Rules are rules. It's okay to break the rules if you tell a nice story first. It's okay to ask for help finding parts for your MV, but only if your story is interesting enough. If your story sucks, then the mods come on and flame you. If your story is good, the mods contribute and...

    Another CDL Thread -- Illinois

I have a class A non CDL in Illinois with air brake endorsement. It was just issued by the DMV a year and a half ago. I had to take the same test as a CDL driver, but don't have to do the expensive drug testing stuff.

Need heater motor for am general m915

I spent a good portion of my day in a 915 and I would have been in **** without a working heater motor. If it's as cold where you are as it is where I am I hope they have fast shipping and I don't blame you a bit for coming here and asking for help finding one. I don't know how asking for help...

    Farming with 915A1s

The transmissions work good hauling big loads out of soft fields. The 55MPH top speed would get annoying if you were trying to run it on the interstate a lot, but not worrying about shifting is great. A really big load doesn't bother the transmission at all, I assume the army used them a lot...

    Farming with 915A1s

We went to the junkyard, and got some air ride seats for ours. It makes a huge difference, you'll love it.

    Farming with 915A1s

Ah, actually that was my wife. She loves to climb the leg and take pictures. She's always looking for an excuse to climb it, and the view is great from up there, especially when the crops are growing.

    Farming with 915A1s

Pic #4 was taken from the top of our 104' grain leg (elevator,) heh, not our US Army surplus farm Helicopter. One of the semis which we aptly named MONG, came out of Jeff City like yours did, Andy.

    Farming with 915A1s

I've been meaning to share my farming photos with the steel soldiers community, and the post about using 915s commercially got me to get around to it. Here are some pictures of us farming with our 915A1s. We are really happy with them for the short hauls, we haul out of the fields to our...

    Air Ride seat in M915A1

I've been Hauling grain in my M915A1, and my back is sore. So, I bought a used air ride seat from the junkyard. Does anyone know if the air going into the seat needs to be regulated, or can I just tie into an air line and give 120psi to the seat? I don't want to blow it up, it cost me $150...
