    m 925 winch operation question

    One hint. While in D and tring to engage the PTO and won,t go in gear, let the truck roll a little and the lever drops in gear. I have wondered if this was a short comimg, not leting the wheels help the winch. Sounds like its not. I also like the 1800 rpm and below, missed that in the manuel.

    I have put a wench on my M35a2 and a 800 series 5T we made into a dump trk. Back when M35 were cheap from GL I bought another W/W and took it off and slapped it on the other trk. I also have 3 PTOs for the M35 two all brand new two in never opened boxes and one opened, I want keep one for myself...

    Ford Backhoe use during the 1960s/1970s?

    I have a 4000 series or that is what the tractor is, the hoe is a 735, circa 1967. Would like to have it find a new home, runs, works, and digs. They are tough hoes.

    When up and running and per the tm to get the 60 Hz is by rpm's, I can dial in 120v or 240v. I am trying for 480v. (3 phase ) I am thinking that the circuit board just ahead of the (4) L's needs to be reconfigured. Any ideals ?

    Know of any Pintle Accidents Needing Safety Chains?

    I was told one incidence when the cotter pin did not get inserted in the pintle hook and it came open and 155 was lost off mountain in Germany. He told me then his Sergent covered him as to that the cotter was in and than came out during transient do to ware. Whew

    I have 5 both 800s and 900s. My avtar shows our shop (crash) truck we take to the for repairs and maintaince. I also have a 923 for sale. We have been runing these trucks, at least the first one for almost 5 years.
