This may be a "ghetto" solution but it worked. I took a dremel tool and slit the ends of the cooler tubes down to the o-ring position and used a pair of pliers to reduce the diameter of the lines. new o-rings and they worked like a charm!!

Hi, hoping for some advice. Installed a 700r4 mated to an np205 t/c in my M1031. Left the frt driveshaft out until tonight while I got some issues sorted out with my TV cable. Went to install my frt shaft, WHOOPS, cv joint will not fit. It hits the pan on the tranny. Will I be able to swap out...
Alright Rattlewagon, whats with the IH avatar?? Are yiou atractor fan or scout man? I just ask because I have had several scouts and my avatar is my scout rockcrawler.

Mine is much quieter on the freeway now that I finally got my 700r4 working well!! Although on a cold morning its very loud until the cold advance goes off.
I agree with last 2 posters. I live near Dalton, Ga. Drove my M1031 daily last winter, never had a problem starting. I don't care for the core plug heaters, just another place to leak.
YMMV,

Just got my truck running tonite after a 700 swap. Westech on here helped me out with the bracket, still had to modify to hook up the cable, not hard at all. I haven't tested yet because my procurement officer didn't have any coolant in stock for the new radiator that went in at the same...
I just installed a rad from advance auto, copper and brass. Fits well except the oil cooler lines seem to be a different size. I even bought new aluminum lines to go across the radiator, still won't fit. I believe I am going to use an external oil cooler and eliminate the one in the radiator...
Yeah, I actually have a bracket off a throttle body setup I bought for my rockcrawler(see avatar). I think I will take that and graft it to my bracket.
Thanks,
Mark
Hi, I am in the hopefully finishing stages of my 700r4 conversion. I started to hook my throttle valve to my recently acquired bracket and the hole is round but the cable end is mostly square with a notch on one side. Do I have to modify the hole in bracket to fit the cable??
TIA,
Mark
Yeah, I wouldn't be too concerned about it not getting out of that rut!!!;-) I am like you, noise doesn't make much difference on these trucks. Thanks for the input, everybody.
same thing I ran into with Progressive. Their commercial insurance is not cheap!! I am currently with State Farm, they saved me money all across the board.
