This will be a multi purpose vehicle used to haul wood, stone, pull a live stock trailer at some point, and also will be our BOV vehicle. Hence the reason I want a multi fuel setup.

The wife and I are looking at 5 ton and 2.5 ton 6x6 diesels on GL, and being a noob to these things I'm not sure what I need.
I see two type of motors listed, both seem to be 6 cylinders. One is a Cummins, the other a CAT.

I'm bad about that too, when the bugs bite, they bite hard. Thinking a CUCV to start, then one day a deuce. The Wife's on board, so I'm ahead of the game already :)

I only got excited about the M105 as it looks cool, and seemed like it could haul a load of fire wood easily. Plus, someone said I might be able to get the thing for $500 or less; which seems super cheap to me for a good trailer.

This is what I was looking for. As much as I'd LOVE to own a deuce and a half, I don't see that in the cards. And, from the sounds of it, that's what I'd need at least.

M109a 1 1/2 ton trailer help -correction M105
