    Alternator

Mine did that and the fix ended up being the replacement of the starter button, which was stuck on. Hope yours is that easy.

    Police surplus auction deuce

I got mine at this auction. It’s last-minute, but they occasionally have military vehicles. Mine was in fantastic shape and went for just over $5000 with 5100 miles on a 1991 complete overhaul and repaint/rustproofing. https://m.publicsurplus.com/sms/auction/view?auc=2900122

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Pics for reference? (I’m a newbie).

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Good call. Ball joint press kit. You can borrow it from NAPA (theirs costs $180), or buy it for $60 from Harbor Freight. Worked fast with a large impact wrench.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Thanks. I’ll definitely do that. I didn’t even think of that yet. Mine went to depot in 1990. Basically a new truck. Thanks to the Tooele paperwork I had to register it as a 1991 M35A2, like that’s a thing. I don’t have to do emissions testing because I told them it’s a “hybrid”.

Thanks. That’s where I ended up. The photos were helpful.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Thanks for trying, but try that was an utter rabbit hole. Not a single thread had pics or useful info for a FNG wanting to flip his hubs. Bunch of chatter about bearings and used overalls. Wasted another half hour. If folks didn’t get blasted for asking questions, there’d be a ton of great...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Starting the next project. New wheels with mounted radial tires. Ordered Monday at 10am. Delivered Wednesday by 1pm. Bryce Equipment is fast! I’ll be glad to get rid of the 25 year old tube tires and murder rims. Having a hell of a time finding information on flipping the hubs. Tried to search...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

plow setup Just got the call from the machine shop. The deuce plow mount is done. Can't wait to see it and test it out. Will post pics for sure. Also need to get a 12V alternator kit from http://www.wolverinetechnologiesllc.com/12vaddonkit.html and a third battery so I can actually use the plow.

    Muffler for M35A2

Nice. My bracket is at the factory spot, but I had it welded on the back side. You can barely see it peeking from behind in my pic. Works well so far.

    Muffler for M35A2

Thanks so much for the part number. Ended up getting one and a flapper. My J-pipe was rusted at the trap. I had a local muffler shop weld it all in and modify the J-pipe (That's what I get for buying the "guaranteed fits your vehicle" part on ebay). Pics on my profile in a public folder if...

12 volt plow on 24v system

Update, please....pics? It's been awhile. I am super curious how it went (If you finished the project). I am considering a similar setup, just with an older plow (see my pics). Having a machine shop fit the deuce with a removable setup for the plow, now. My main concern is running the 12V...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Removed the (now) leaking manifold flame heater Question as well as a post: Is it normal to have smoke puffing from the snot tube that empties between the turbo halves (see pic)? Spent the better part of a few days last week removing the manifold flame heater, since it just decided to start...
