    I tried installing windsheild glass one time. Cracked it had to rebuy it. No more. Hire a glass guy. Had to put new windsheild in MTV. Glass guy cracked it also but was on his dime.

    I think you may have switches confused. First PTO switch must be turned on. On the electrical junction box drivers side back is a toggle switch that has to be on for controls to work. I think the momentary switch you are talking about by crane controls is the battle short override.(momentary)

    I am surprised you found A1 scematics because I thought those were in electronic format only and lots of people have been looking for them. The ones in the TMs that are online are usually the A0.

    It depends on how much fast hwy driving you will be doing. The top kick is better on hwy and the FMTV is better off road. I agree about M1084 being a better option since it has crane and 5 ton capacity but a wrecker has the crane in the middle and you could put service body on the back where...

    Brakes "bucking" after stopped

    It is usually when a light changes and I can not make it thru light type stops. I can try stronger springs on throttle. Definately not cab air ride. If I am not on brakes hard it wants to push truck forward a couple feet.

    When I stop hard at a light truck settles then surges"bucks". Not if i stop regular just if a hard stop. Figure it is one of the brake relay valves that I am not familiar with yet. Seeing if someone can point me in right direction.

    Then that is why the brake drums didn't come off. Parking brake was still on.
