5L Oil from the rear axle planetary hub!

Shared lube in back with the planetary hubs and differential. Fronts are independent from the differential and for no more than the fronts hold it doesn't hurt to drain and refill to make sure they are fresh and full. Front planetary hubs 11-13 oz. GO-80/90 per 20-1 TM page 1555.

    M925a2 Power Surge

Jump the switch wires to silence low air alarm and while at full air pressure, check air switches with ohm meter to find out if one or both are bad and replace, sometimes port on switch gets plugged up and it doesn't respond.

Problem with 3116 fan? Heard a clink clink then saw these pieces

The fan clutch on my m1078 needed air to disengage, it will engage when the air is turned off by the sensor or when the airline gets severed.

2016 Iola, WI Military Vehicles & Gun Show, August 13-14

I just listed a set of upper (hood) fenders for a M939, good condition and wrapped for shipping (someone backed out), green in color. Could possibly bring to Iola on Fri. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?157170-M939-Series-Truck-Front-Grill-and-Fenders

    Backwards Batteries

Does it have 2 batteries wired in series or 4 batteries wired in series / parallel configuration? Like mentioned before, check each battery individually and always connect the vehicle negative cable last and disconnect it first to prevent chance of arcing positive to ground when installing...

    Bought a M818

The fittings are npt (3/8" and 1/2"), I was able to reuse all my original fittings after carefully removing the old cracked and brittle hose. This is what my original push on fittings looked like.

    Bought a M818

The place that makes my hydraulic hoses is a Parker dealer and they supplied me with the push lock hose. You can just google it and buy it online, just make sure that it's diesel compatible. What type of fittings are on your current hoses?

    Bought a M818

I probably didn't have $30 in all the hoses when I replumbed all my 818. All the fittings were the barbed push on fittings that were reuseable. The parker push lock hose worked well with the fittings. If yours has that type of fittings it should work, if it has the compression collars it...
