    Fuel Shutoff Rod Position Question

Pull your FDC andhave a look at the fulcrum lever/sliding sleeve of the governor. That is where my fueling issue was. The lever/sleeve was sticking in the no fuel position.

    Denver area to/from Minneapolis

I am thinking of making the trek to Minneapolis from Southern Colorado via Denver area. I will be empty to MN and mostly empty from MN to Denver. I can take my trailer for the right deal! 8' bed with topped, 16' open 7K trailer or 10' open utility trailer. I will be making make a stop by BFR...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Of all the dirty, filthy, rusted and muddy parts on this truck, the injector lines were great! I only had one line that was slightly upset about being disturbed! The hardest parts of this whole deal was the slight wind and 27* weather in my outdoor shop! I still need to reinstall the lines today...

    Deuce turbo issues

I can understand that. The noise is the only reason I own a C-turbo MF! Haha. I'd look at the oil supply. Also look at his habits.....does he start it up and go straight to throttle? When he stops, does he let it set and cool be fore shutting it off? That's one of the fastest and easiest way to...

    Removing, rebuilding, reinstalling Hydraulic Head

Just FYI for anyone looking at sizing these orings from a supplier that does not list by number sizes, the measurements here are ID measurements. The 013 is 9/16" OD (.566" actual) 227 is 2 3/8" OD (2.387" actual) and the 230 is 2 3/4" OD (2.762" actual) I'm not sure if this was mentioned...

    Deuce turbo issues

I would have a look at the oil supply and make sure it is flowing as it should. The TM may have specs on pressure at the turbo. I'll help you look for that. Switching back to the "D" turbo would be advantageous for him!! OR upgrade to a Garrett HX35(?) I can't remember exactly what Garrett...

    Dual 9.00 on bobbed m35a2

I agree 100% HanksD! I have been viewing this forum as a guest of a very long time, searching for info on certain topics that I was unable to figure out on my own or from the TM's. It never fails that while searching, you end up with 90% of the responses being "do a search for it" rather than...

    WY/CO Chapter

I don't know if it is ok to ask for parts here but I really don't want to ship a frame section! I need two frame sections about 3' +/- for an M35. The remnants of a bob job would work great! Thanks!!!

    Removing, rebuilding, reinstalling Hydraulic Head

When I picked up my deuce a few weeks ago, it had a no start-no fuel issue. First, I found that the fuel shut off rod/actuator was gummed up and stuff in the off position. I fixed that, reinstalled and fired the truck. It went start to WOT and was just screaming!!! I hadn't hooked the shutoff...

How to remove the Fuel Shutoff Rod on the IP

I removed the fuel rod cover today to re-safety wire the bridge screws after having to clean the shut off. It seems I have some diesel fuel behind that cover when I pulled it this time. I am pretty sure that is not supposed to be there (?) I just read the thread about the HH rebuild and it was...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

It was work-on-Powerstroke Day today but I was able to get the right oring for the preheater injector. I didn't write down all the measurements but it was 16mm OD and it works great now, no more leak. Then I proceeded to drive around town for a bit, annoying all the cheerful folks! I delivered...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

This is a quick photohackjob I did as a rough rendering. I don't have a title for the M35 so I can't do much with it and it is only half the cab anyway. I have a clear title for the C600 so, BAM! Problem solved but creating 100 other problems....that's just the way I do it ;)

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I did a little to my newly acquired deucer. It seems that my preheater injector is leaking out the plunger end. I pulled it apart today and it seems the orings are a size that I did not have. It still leaks. I'll need to try to get the right orings tomorrow. I don't really forsee needing the...

    New to the MV crowd!

Hello, My name is Jeff and I am new to the MV crowd having just acquired my first 2.5 ton. As near as I can tell from the registration papers that were in the glove box, it's a 53 model (?) I really have no idea. Seeing as the truck has no title or anything that resembles it, I will be doing a...
