I personally despise those "Fun House" mirrors on the right hand side of any vehicle. They are garbage. May give a wider view, but it is too distorted. I prefer standard mirrors on both sides with convex mirrors added to suit.
My 932 has the perfect mirrors (THANKS KENNY!!). The top parts are...
I would like to attend, will check my schedule. Not sure what all is going on that weekend. Have they been doing any advertising? This is the first I have heard of it.
Idea here. Use the excavator to dig a big trench, making sure there is drainage away from the truck. From either a hydrant or water tanker, use a 3" hose to wash away the silt. Maybe silly but I am just thinking out loud here. That's the best way I can come up with to free up the underside of...
Here is how it generally works- others want what you don't have, and don't want what you DO have. You never really know what they want. Best advice is to bring everything you reasonably can. On bigger items, try to get them pre-sold to avoid transporting them for no reason. There are plenty of...
Agreed. Needed a big dozer. Or a couple more BIG trucks strapped in line with that small dozer may have done the trick. It never ceases to amaze me at how much a hard rain can change an area. The before and after pics tell the whole story.
No dozer is going to get that truck out. Gonna take a track hoe to dig around it and then it will still be extremely difficult to move. That's the best anchor point I have ever seen.
The guy with that 5 tonner just wanted to side load his toys without using a ramp. Looks like it didn't work out as planned. No way would I leave a truck planted that long. It has to be considered abandoned by now. Looks like you had a great time. Good "clean" fun.
I have both of the sockets. But I am still looking for the single socket which has both on it, one on each end. It has holes in the middle to insert a bar to turn it.
Belts have nothing to do with starting. You may have a very tiny leak in the fuel system and it's losing prime.
As for the squeaking belts at start up, it is probably the glow plugs still cycling (normal). Either tighten the belts or they may need to be replaced (always replace in pairs so that...
The 1009 is a very versatile vehicle. Let the nay-sayers spout their insults. When used within the designed parameters, the 1009 is hard to beat. I find it funny how so many people mock them, but sooner or later they end up seeing the light and wanting one. Nice score.
By FAR, the best battery charger out there in the Noco genius. They are truly "Wicked Smart". I have the G4 and it is the best charger I have ever owned or used. They are not cheap, but in the long run will save big. Batteries are expensive, and I have to keep up with 10 or so.
What is the back story???? Wally World just wants some MV's in the parking lot???? We just did a job right down the street (Rt 47) from there. I may be interested.
I greatly appreciate the response. A similar headboard has been sourced locally. That seems to happen to me. I find something I want that is far away, then one shows up closer, usually after I receive the one from afar. I no longer need the headboard transported.
