If you have not dropped the tip into the precup I put a cotton ball in the bottom of the precup via the fuel injector hole to catch the tip. With the aid of some custom modified needle nose pliers I was able to remove the tip with great effort. The hardest one I found was the drivers rear due...
How close are you? How many of those big washers are on the shaft? If you must you can drill a new cotter pin hole on the shaft where you need it 90 degrees perpendicular to the stock hole. What grade bolts are you using on the plate? They must be grade eight or metric 10.9. I have the same...
Be sure to test the system on the first start after replacing the plugs. I ran mine for one minute not knowing I had a stuck relay in the box and fried the brand new glow plugs. Don't let that happen to you.

My 100A alternator doesn't have a 12v tap so I am running a 24v to 12v 60A waterproof converter mounted under the hood. If you are just needing 12V for a USB charger or something else low power you can tap off one of the batteries but I would suggest using the power and ground off the same...

There is no carb on this diesel.
You need to change the fuel filter and empty the fuel canister and then see if your lift pump is providing fuel to the fuel filter and canister. If you have that then crack a few injectors to see if fuel is getting to the injectors while cranking. You need to...
With house paint touch-ups are easy. My paint job is over six years old and has held up very well. A little faded from being stored outside but it's still in very good shape. I keep small Mason jars with one with green paint and one with black in the truck. 1" throw away "chip" paint brushes...
Even Dino oil today is a far better oil than what they had years ago. What SF rating to they have today SL or something like that? I remember SC so they have come a long way.
