I didn't mention it, simply because I'm not sure. It's on my deuce, but it doesn't have CARC painted anywhere like I have seen on some trucks. Is there a way to tell?
Does anybody have any helpful hints as to the best/easiest way to get paint off of the windows and a couple tires without just replacing them? I tried searching, but I just don't have any luck for some reason.. Thanks!
That looks nice! Any chance you could shoot a vid of the rise time of the bed? I've always been curious about the difference between a pto driven pump and an electric one. A good friend of mine has a couple trucks with pto setups, but I've always wondered how much slower an electric was..
I've read this story a few times, and I always get chills reading it again. I know this is an old thread, thought it would be a good time to bring it up again.
I had my old chevy painted that flat black color, make sure that is actually a matte paint, not a primer, or it will fade.
Here is a pic of my truck, the guy at the paint shop called it sealer...
If you can work on regular car/truck brakes, you can work on deuce brakes. I've found that aside from the weight, everything is easier on the deuce. it's bigger, so it's easy to see, and get ahold of. :)
Hey DFO, I think you're off to a great start with your business idea, I've always thought a deuce would make the perfect work truck, simply because of the affordability, and ease of repair.
