Thank you, US6X4. I call them helmets as well, not sure why I called them headsets. I will post results from the road trip later on today, for anybody that is interested, hopefully, with some pictures.

Second the thinking about the M/C going out. Classic symptoms of failure- goes soft gradually while being held, then, firms up after a quick stroke or two, followed by creeping down again.

Question for you. Are the CVC headsets compatable with a VIC-1 set up, or do I need a different model? I can get the complete CVC headsets and cables from work. I just looked them up, and, they are literally down the road from the farm, like maybe 10 miles down the road. ROAD TRIP tomorrow...

Made a trip up to go see Clinto and crew at the new location and get some badly needed parts for my Deuce yesterday. Nice people, nice place. And, my computer will NOT upload pictures to here anymore. Why, all of a sudden?

MudMArine- yep, you now own an M151 component. That should be the 60 amp version. I'll get the tag info at work next day that I am there. I am going to see Clinto and company tomorrow to pick up some badly needed parts for my truck.

Well, the bossman says that he doesn't have any A2 MUTT stuff, just 151 and 151A1 stuff, but, 1 of the alternators is a big body, with a double sheave pulley on it, where as the rest (so far in the crate) are single sheave/ no sheave and small diameter body. The big body one has a GM tag on it...
