I bought mine through supplyhouse.com. I think it was $41. I got it pretty fast.
I use offroad diesel in mine also and yes it is dyed red.
Hope this helps.
Just to follow back up on this, I ordered a new ignition transformer to try. It arrived today and I installed it. The heater now works again, I hope that is what fixed it and this isn't just a temporary thing.
Hello all,
My Choctaw heater has decided not to work since it has gotten cold out and I could really use it. I have run the tests in the manual for no spark. I can't figure it out, I tested the terminals under the control panel and that was ok. I've tested that I have voltage to the capacitor...
Looks like that is on hold for a bit. The Chambersburg yard is shutting down for inventory after today till the 13th of Jan. But, if my shipper doesn't get my item picked up today and I end up having to go in Jan, I will keep you in mind.
Have you installed these yet? How is your temps doing if so? I'd like to replace my fan to reduce the noise and power rob if Temps are still in a good range.
I've been trying to get an item picked up in Chambersburg, PA and the shipping company i picked seems to be struggling to get it done so I may have to go get it myself. I'm half way between Indy and Cindy and have been to Gimpy's before. I could get your stuff to the Chambersburg area if that...
I think djones and I are going to Convoy in Friday morning, will probably be 11ish if I had to guess. I hope we get more trucks there, seems to be really dwindling since I started coming. Maybe it's me?
Looks like nobody has posted to this thread for a while. I guess it isn't snowing anywhere? We finally got some snow and while most of my playing has been in the humvee, the 5 ton needed some play time also. It took me a while to make the pile.
I finally got some time during my furlough this week to look into my 5 flashing light problem. Once the truck hits 120psi, the system does a check and goes right into the 5 lights. I checked the tires and the front was at 50, the middle was at 50 but the rear was at 40, both sides. I aired the...
I removed the top and the duct from the fan to the burner duct looks good. Everything looks pretty clean in there.
I can hear the fan that goes to burner duct kick on or at least I think that is what it is but I don't hear an igniter clicking. With the top off, it that the metal box attached to...
I bought some new flex duct to try out to see if it was going to do what I wanted it to. It worked pretty well but I only have vent mode again. I just used the heat on it a few months ago and everything was fine. I'm not getting the ignition arc again. I checked that the wires didn't come loose...
After a great time at Haspin comes a day of trying to get Haspin out of everything! Man that stuff really packs in there!
It was great to see everyone and meet a few new folks.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll look for some loose wires behind the dash to see where they go. The holes don't bother me, just more curious as to what might have gone there and if was anything I should try to hook back up and make work. Thanks guys.
