My normal reply to our customers who ask similar questions is " oil and filters are cheap, engines are expensive".

    idle problem

I have used both, the crows foot on the rear ones is easier iirc, be careful not to turn the metal line when loosening the connection to the injector, you could split it. Sometimes the injector might want to turn also so be prepared to watch for that.

m1009 transfer case rear seal replacement

A few methods I have used on different application over the years is to drill 3 holes around the perimiter of the seal and use a slide hammer with a sheet metal screw on the end to pull out. Another is to try to insert a small pocket screw driver, or ice pick, between the case and seal to...

I have been advised to bypass Slave Plug resistor on firewall behind shroud

Thats the way I understand it. Bypassed mine a few years back, it takes an extra 15-20 seconds for the wait light to go off but all works well.

I need help with a few things...

Ditto! The weakest link is the relay under the dash, it is advised to do the Doghead starter relay mod. This mod will eliminate a potential future failure which will cost big bucks to fix and several hours. The rest of the system will work as designed if maintained periodically.

My Gen 1 light would not come on when key was turned to on.. After checking voltage readings, checking and changing bulbs, rebuilding Gen 1 and having it tested, I found that the groung wire from Gen1 ground stud to the engine was corroded internally and not giving a good ground although the...
