    Headlights seem to be oriented too low after TM.

    My lamp adjusters would not stay in position due to metal fatigue so I cut out a few pieces of metal shaped like a triangle and welded in to reinforce. As far as adjusting a good dark area and adjust to where I want them.

    One side of the fuel door hinge broke off, loosened up the fill pipe which allowed it to slide over to remove the door. Heated up the hinge pin clamp to open it up to remove the pin , fabricated another small part and welded it in. blasted, primed and paint and reassembled.

    Rebuilt the front calipers, replaced brake hoses and bleeders. Replaced rear brake cylinders, retension springs,made up new metal lines and replaced rear hose, also small line from proportioning valve to rear hose connection. I had trouble forming the short bends at the valve so for now I...

    My M1008 shifted hard when I first got it . I replaced all the rubber vac lines and it smoothened right out.

    I was assigned a 52 reo when I was supply sgt back in the 70's. Ran great until I let another guy drive her to camp. He left the parking brake up an put the transfer case in low, went about 20 miles on major roads trying to keep up with the convoy till the engine blew. Take care of Her.

    I have had my intake off twice,did not chase the threads either time. Bolts came out and back in with no problems. Anti seize is your friend.

    Spare belts, and fuel filters. I am off exit 8B on Rt 95n. If you have any issues. Have a safe trip.

    Coolant light stays on with no leaks in system

    Clean the wire connection at the sensor on the radiator. Its possible it got loose when moving the hoses. I ran my M1008 for almost a year with the core bypassed. Finally found a local shop that has some NOS core stock and replaced it.
