    My Newly Aquired CUCV

Have you tested the strength and flex of the floor like this? I see you set the seat in have you bounced in it? Only reason I say is because flat steel will flex unless you put in supports or bead roll it. You may have and I didn't see. Looks awesome though! I want one so bad!

I really want a CUCV but like I said they are pretty tough to find here :( I would love to have a 6.2 because my buddy builds turbo assemblies and I know he would do one for me.... and possible for retail to members here. Ill keep my eyes open! Although the lady would kill me if i roll more...

Advantage of a CUCV over Civilian truck

So if I was sitting in front of two 84 blazers, one CUCV and one civi, which one should be bought? I'm torn, here CUCVs are expensive but i can find Blazers all day long.... in fact i just made one call and found two for under 3k. Is it more advantageous to have the diesel or gas? I don't care...

    Starting My Bobber Project!!

A customer of ours took apart his springs on his 75 jeep and painted them with graphite paint so they don't squeak. Its been about 4 years and probably 12k miles and seems to be holding up really well. Seemed like a good idea to me haha!

    Rattle can paint advice

Also if it does look streaky you can move back about 12-15 inches and just dust the surface to level things out. Try a test panel if need be.

    Rattle can paint advice

A few medium to light coats are way better then one heavy. The paint will bond better if you use thin coats because it will flash over (dry) in between the layers therefore not trapping solvents. less chance of getting runs in it too! best of luck! Also post up some pics of it when you get it done!

Bought an M36a2, eventual Crew Cab build.

He is talking about the price of the 5th gear kit not the package price of the truck being salty.

Great, now what did I do? (w/pictures)

Sounds like a bearing to me. If lug nuts are good its probably bearings or spindle nut like said before. Best of luck!

    Ricks Deuce build

After looking at everything I think I want to be able to remove the floor. It will allow access to things that normally you could slide the bed back to get to..... with the cab on I wont be able to unless I remove the cab or floor. If I do weld it in, I know with my luck, that I'll need to do...

LMC for sure. They have really good products. Just installed a bunch of stuff for a customer. As far as aftermarket goes their products are very very good.

    Battery Switch (Keyed)

I don't know what the TM says but I turn off accessory before pulling engine stop. My thinking there is a chance it could be left on.... so if my truck is off I know that my switch is off.

    Battery Switch (Keyed)

Battery switches are great ideas for rigs that sit from time to time. I put them on everything we have that sits around just so you know it wont get drawn down from gremlins. Obviously if it sits to long the battery will naturally dissipate. in the fire dept. we have them on all vehicles just...
