Already had back wall sprayed. Will use silicone sealant to fill gaps between wall and truck bed. Will paint tan to match after hardtop is sprayed.

I don’t know whether you actually have a turret, or rather a factory plug on the hole a turret would be installed. My hardtop has a plug and I have an appointment end of next week to have the entire hardtop sprayed with Line-X. That will encapsulate the top with a membrane totally waterproof...

There is a rivnut for armor attachment in that same spot on my Humvee.

That crossover air duct is 2 1/2” inside diameter on my Humvee, and facilitates air flow to driver side footwell under the dash. You should see an air vent there on the right side of footwell. You should also adequately insulate the duct, as it snakes directly over top of the engine.

Continuing conversion of my M1152A1 (2 seats) to M1165A1ish (4 seats). Covered rear tunnel area with 3/4” rubber mat, over 3/4” plywood, over 1/2” solid foam insulation, over Dynamat. Trimmed with 2” aluminum angle.

Stop the annoying gouging of the air intake side cover. Simply remove the right side hood latch, grind 1/8” metal from inside edge (see area marked in red). Repaint, re-install. Hood opens easier and no longer contacts the air intake cover. Yes, I still need to repaint intake cover.

WOW! Your’s must be the strongest rails out there! They look great. 👍👍 I had my C-pillar/bulkhead and D-pillars sprayed with Line-X to encapsulate the steel to mitigate rusting. That barrier also helps to prevent rust staining where those parts attach to the aluminum fenders.

I don’t know about “OEM” GMV side rails, mine are aluminum.

Installed a pintle extension. May never tow anything with my Humvee, but this adds a substantial layer of protection in the event of being hit from the rear.
