You'll probably have to piece one together, short of someone parting out their trailer... You might try the forums at ExpeditionPortal or IH8MUD.
The actual cap itself looks suspiciously like an M35A2 master cylinder cap with the threaded port in the center. However, I haven't confirmed that...
EDIT: Marcus beat me to it, but your truck appears to be wired as it was originally built, with the hybrid 24v/12v system, including the glow plug resistor bank.
The only non-CUCV wiring that I see is what appears to be an unfused 24v hot/ground (red/black) pair that is tapped into the bus...
The truck in question looks like it has "DLA" across the bedside... So I'm wondering if this was done by DLA/DRMO personnel before it was turned over to GovPlanet?
I was reading a thread from yesteryear regarding the spray painted "X" on equipment, and a member posted that it was done at the...
I also found that document in my searching, but apparently didn't read it closely enough... So, nope, I now have zero confidence in my late-night guesswork regarding "UTRAN". :-D
Someone with a better Army vocabulary will be more helpful, but I'll take a stab...
I think the letter is being addressed to "Command & Control" staff (C2), possibly in the event that a ranking officer saw the truck in a state of disrepair and started asking questions... Nonetheless, the truck...
The USMC had this trailer most recently assigned to MCTSSA at Camp Pendleton, per that Mxxxxx number seen in the photo.
MCTSSA provides C4 support (command, control, computer, communications), so the above comments about antenna masts is probably correct.
An M985 sold out of Salem, Oregon earlier this month for a hefty sum, so they can definitely be had via GSA.

The offroad community desires the driveline, as found in the non-M1009 variants of the CUCV.
The Dana 60 front axle alone tends to fetch $800+ on the used market, and the 14-bolt rear axle with the Detroit locker is usually worth ~$250 to the right buyer... The 4.56 axle gearing is also a...
It's mounted to the driver's side cylinder head, at the very rear, behind and below the intake manifold.
Attached photo has the bracket circled, and is shown with the intake removed.
FYI, based on the photo (with the Organ Mountains in the background), your truck is at the GovPlanet storage yard in Las Cruces. Their yard is situated adjacent to the I-10 and I-25 interchange, along and accessed from the eastern frontage road.
Check out this Google Maps link, and you'll spot...
I'll second the Cascade detergent recommendation.
As was noted above, very common in the OTR/trucking/equipment world to decontaminate a cooling system after an oil cooler failure.
I believe the transmission dipstick hash marks are more aptly measuring "pints", rather than full quarts... Low to full is roughly one pint (half a quart), as I recall.
The bends in the dipstick tube itself are gradual, so you should be able to siphon with a small diameter hose.
No idea how to get close to them, but they've been there for over a year...
Make your way thru base to Hardin Blvd (east end of the main runway) and continue east. Turn left (to the north) on either Pennsylvania or Texas, and then hang your first right (eastward) onto Griffin Ave. Keep your...
Cannon AFB has at least one M1009, spotted out near the flightline, keeping some armored HMMWVs company.
Also a handful of residue M1008/M1028 chassis' at Kirtland AFB, north of the Security Forces' warehouse.
I had one on a Toyota Tacoma for several years, and will echo the "works great, never came loose, drains slow" theme. I believe mine had a small hole drilled in the throw lever for using a wire cable to secure it in the closed position. The slow(er) draining could have some merit with the...
