thats the new style all righr . the actuator canister wasn't the problem, the fly in the ointment is the valve held on the top with 3 -i/2 inch bolts and three air lines .once the valve is on your bench is pretty much straightforeward dissasembly,shake the brass valve out remove the spring then...

thanks for the fast reply ive done more checking ,there is a copper line coming from the brake booster to the breather tube ,it also has two small lines attached to the copper line with fittings going to the fuel tank and the other goes to the master cyl cap , i think this must be a common vent...

the seal retainer prys off ,its held on by the gasket and two small dowell pins and of corse the bolts, i also have a leaker ,i have replaced the seal twice on the last time replacing the wear ring, i believe ive got too much oil pressure ??
