    Glow Plug Failure

Ok, here's the story. I just got my 1028A3 running about a month or so ago. I rebuilt a 6.5 and dropped it in with new wellman GP's. I have not driven the truck other than to just do a quick test drive, maybe 5-6 miles tops, I have however started it in the yard a number of times. Fast...

smoking issue still after new injectors

I would do the compression check. I just rebuilt a 6.5 and had smoke from the drivers side, it has cleared up, but I used the old injectors. If you pull the pink wire from the IP and crank the motor does it sound even? as in the sound of the motor cranking over is consistent, steady, even? no...

Need a new oil pan, any suggestions?

Different, the HMMWV pan will work if you have a lift kit installed.

    3:73's, 4:10's = Higher RPM = crappier mileage. I have a 14 bolt with 3:73's in my 1009 I get about 13-14 MPG @ 70 mph 2cents
