Need to replace the fuel line and fittings pictured, anybody know of a good source? I tried 4 different places, hydraulic shops and truck supply houses, nobody can match the fittings.
Thanks pwrwagonfire, lilbob, 123mack, DUG and a few others. I was felling like I was being attacked for trying to promote Mother and Country to these young men. They get bombarded with antimilitary liberalism all day long. Standing on top of a all American deuce and taking a few turns with a...
Yes "crawdaddy" you will notice I said "haul gear", not scouts. Trust me, I have been a scoutmaster for 20 years. Even at Parades, the scouts would have to walk beside the truck, not ride in it. Violate BSA policy and see how fast any insurance claims would be denied. We can however use this...
We really are not "flipping" deuces. Both M35s we have we got super...and I do mean super cheap. the 109 I bought at auction and thought we might finance other projects, or I might just keep it like "flyingvan911" said and use it as the Scoutmasters clubhouse. Our plan is to use the project...
We have a limited budget and limited skills, we (the scouts) have 2 deuces, both run great and everything but we need to pick just one to really work on. We will take some parts form both to hopefully put together one really nice one. I mean sandblast, paint, new seats, wiring etc. The 109, was...
BiilF is right, Troops don't own property, we are a venture crew, but the same rules apply. the M109 was bought by the me at an auction, as a private individual. But as like most everything, whatever I own, the Scouts seem to think they own also...
Bought one M35 w/w from Surplus, the other (m109) at auction. Both Started right up with a jump and ran great. The M35 has a small fuel leak in one hose, but other than that in great shape. The M109 engine has a data plate that says it was overhauled in '94, the box has no rust on it and all the...
I heard you can add a starter to the 4a032 engine. I've seen the saturn surplus ones and am not too impressed for $225. Has anyone else added a starter or have experience with the Saturn ones?

Saw a post the other day about a guy who could look up your deuces history with a few of the numbers,I got the numbers now but can't find the post, can anbody help out?
It's a yard alright, my backyard, only place I have to store the stuff. It's not DRMO but like it, anything over $5000 in original cost or any vehicles, we have to use it for a certain period of time before we can sell, part out, lease or whatever. Our scouts signed up to get sleeping bags and...
Thanks to all who gave advice, it turns out it was the fuel cutoff. I removed the cover and moved the lever ( it was a little stuck) back and forth, put the cover back on and the whistler fired right up. Took a while though, had to work around the heater box (dont need it here in south Texas, if...
So we picked up our new deuce, paperwork says its a '71, but not sure. everything looks in really good shape except for wiring which appears to have been the main course for quite a few mice, during its time in storage (talked to Jeff at Pipline, but want to make sure it will run before I invest...
