injector cleaner Has anyone tried BG 244, I have used BG products for a while in my civilian vehicles with great results, we just picked up an '83 M1009, was thinking about using the BG injector cleaner, never had a diesel before though, any thoughts?

Thanks for the TM reference, and yes the blackout switch was sticking, I thought I had operated it correctly, but after playing with it for a minute it seemed to be a little corroded and loosened up and was able to get it working. Thanks for everyones help.

Picked up our first m1009 today, starts, runs great, no rust, great truck...except, no lights whatsoever. headlights, turn signals, brakes, nothing. Whats my first step, or even point me to the right section of the TM...will post pics tomorrow.

about 25 of them will be available in San Antonio in the next month. They were all in pretty good shape

its goes with some kind of waterproof junction box thing, each pin connector goes to an individual outlet box that waterproof also. After that,I dont have a clue

I think your right NDT, I googled the numbers and I found a pic from a TM that showed the cable tying into some sort of small boxes but it didn't tell me what they were...thanks for the help

Don't know where else to put this one. I got an email from a local supplier, says he has some "tire constrictors" he says they are used to help mount big tires on rims, some kind of strap with a hydraulic tensioner? anybody know anything about that? Just wondering if its worth the trip to check...
