    MEP-002A foamy oil

Picked up an MEP-002A and it has foamy/milky oil on the dipstick. A test run showed it to start/run fine but the dipstick oil doesn't look good. I'll drain the oil but any thoughts? Oil pressure on the gauge was about 50 PSI. thanks!

BFR Metals, Salina Kansas, a Goodie Hole

I made it up to Salina Saturday and had a chance to see Glen. As always he was a mite busy, but he took some time out of his day to chit chat and even bought the pizza. The yard is packed with M105 trailers and a 5 ton truck or two. Good golly Miss Molly there are a lot of parts up there! A...

Glen, I hope you enjoyed your Easter! Look forward to coming up! I will be up this week, and will check with Josh. I bought him a big air compressor like mine, but his has that 4 cylinder government 4A032 engine on it. I lugged it home and we played with it for a bit and it fired right up and...

I would have liked to have been up too today. Beautiful Kansas day!! I managed to get a new pintle mount made for my F150 so a M101 will sit properly. And I have a crank landing gear THANKS GLEN ready to go on. Been busy for me at work, but look look forward to getting back up there!

BFR Metals, Salina Kansas, a Goodie Hole

Seeing as Glen mentioned it, here's the famous truck. Seemed pretty stable to me...... With all those 11.00x20 tires coming in I think I am going to invest in another 3/4 inch impact gun. That way Josh and I can race.......... And a big hearty THANK YOU to Glen!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BFR Metals, Salina Kansas, a Goodie Hole

A friend and I went up a couple days ago to pull parts for Glen. Without a doubt he has a trailer or two there. It was a beautiful day and perfect for pulling parts. We pulled a bit of this and that. My big score was stumbling across a crank landing gear for a M101!! I have been looking for...

MEP 701A dies when slave cable disconnected

Would I be correct in reasoning that the battery charging voltage regulator is likely the culprit? I will have him test this. If this is bad is there a way to source this part?

MEP 701A dies when slave cable disconnected

Question: A friend has a MEP 701A (MEP 16B) 3kw diesel gen set with the Onan engine. Battery in it reads about 4 volts. Putting a slave cable to it, it starts right up and runs very nicely. However, it dies as soon as you disconnect the slave cable. I did not see anything in the manual for...

Yes, I need to bring my Nikon up and shoot some photography. I have kicked myself twice about it. I went up again Saturday and pulled tires for Glen. I didn't get as many pulled off for him as I'd like, but I left a stack of 14........maybe that will help a bit. I am from away, so am still...
