I didn't have a lot of time tonight, so I needed a quick project. I had picked up a couple of the 6TL adapters for my Redtops and some battery terminal covers. This seemed like a good one to get done as I want to start installing my 12v equipment.

Last night I finished a rear axle replacement and rebooted the one that I removed. Even with a lift and everything coming apart pretty easy, I had almost 4 hours into the replacement and rebooting. My left rear axle had the outer boot torn on arrival.

You are spot on. It's like having daggers stored under the seat. I was just trying to get it all together last night and make sure all of my holes lined up. Tonight it is coming back out so I can dull the edges and paint the plate.

With the exception of the the driver's seat, the install was pretty easy. Just had to drill 4 holes in the covers for the rear seats. The passenger front seat bolted right up to existing holes. The driver's seat required a bit of modification. The seat rails on the new seats were too short the...

Very easy... just 4 bolts. You'll need a 1/2" socket and 1/4" Allen wrench. Slide the seat all way back and unscrew the front bolts. Slide the seat all the way forward and undo the rear bolts. Or do it in the reverse order. Does not matter. Done.

We all do. But as long as you're not too tall, you can move the seat a few clicks forward and recline it pretty good.

I installed 4 of these. They were described as MRAP seats and are quite a nice upgrade. The seats can move front to back and the seatback inclines/declines. Sorry for just the one picture. Good deal. I suspect that they were reeled in too far and that was what was causing your issue. Glad you were able to get it figured out.

Just finished replacing all 4 of my seats last night. I'll post some pics for you later tonight.

I just did my front belts last night and they would not retract until I had them in position. I had to bolt in the top first, then the reel, and then the bottom. As others have said, they seem to need to be in that "just right" position.

I can't verify the front without looking in the TM, but that rear axle number is correct. I bought a NOS rear axle off ebay and got boots and bands to rebuild the one I am pulling.
