    If the metal is clean underneath, it'll scrape off with a bit of effort. A heat gun will soften it up a bit depending on the quality of the bedliner. If it's rusty rotten, expect to take the rust and rot off as you scrape the bedliner.

    Welcome from Ohio! Nice looking machine, good luck on the auction. We have a '56 CJ-6 that the tub was bedlined. We did find a few hidden surprises but we knew what we were getting into before we got it.

    Brakes shoes slow release

    It has happened to me also. More pressure when applying the brakes opens up the flexible hoses. When brake applying is released the hoses swell shut holding in hydraulic pressure at the wheel cylinder, almost like a line lock.

    I have those covers on my camper and had no problems with moisture or condensation. They do work well to keep the dry rot away.

    I resided my barn with steel siding and have a metal roof on it, after that, I couldn't tune in my AM/FM radio until I ran an external antenna.
