OK, I purchased new handles and latches. The catch on the handle is at least 1/2" away from the latch. The latch is adjusted all the way out. I pushed the door from the outside while my buddy was inside trying to get the door to latch but no go. Is there a trick? Am I missing something?
Looking through the multitudes of posts and the TM, I still can't seem to find lube points on rear of 998. I see the zerks on upper joint but not lowers. What am I missing? Is there a diagram somewhere that shows? I know all typical locations like shafts etc and see the list in the TM but...
awesome and sorry for the dumb ? was already at the exhaust shop. There was a pretty good size hole in the pipe and I had them replace that section for now. It was below the Y so it wasnt that difficult. Thx for replies.
while finally getting a little time to clean the truck I discovered that on the inside door pillars? there is "US ARMY NG 456F"painted in 3" high letters. Any idea where that unit was located?
When I picked up my 998 the door handles were both broken. I replaced them today and realized the latches are missing. First, not sure if I assembled them correctly and secondly I am told that the latch itself is hard to come by. If so, what have you guys used for a latch?
Thx
It's stock, single, was wondering if there were any other configurations that were better or , if you replaced one, what is best option to go back with?
