    M35A2 Hydraulic PTO Winch COG?

The center of gravity for the truck empty and loaded is shown on the weight and dimension/ serial number data tag on the dash. You can find good enough pics to see it with a quick google search.

    M101A2 questions

You could bolt on the lunette setup from an m101 or m101a1. That's just a regular lunette setup since those trailers didn't have service brakes.

    14 Bolt Rear Open Conversion?

Why do you need to remove the locker with an NV4500?

    Frame/hood number dates for M35

It should be a Studebaker, built around 1954 according to the number. If the axles have data tags on them they should have a year listed, or it could be on the housing itself.

    My new 1992 M998 Avenger

It should make a pretty good plow truck. The Army tested HMMWVs with 9 foot Fisher plows here in VT with good results. A friend drove one and said it did really well. Here's a pic of your truck at the VT show a few years back.

    Trailer wheel size?

That's the correct size tire since your trailer is an m116a2 (m101a2 with the cargo bed). The m101a3 versions and the later aluminum trailers had the bigger HMMWV tires stock. You can run some wider tires if you want to, there should be enough room. I had 36x12.5x16.5 tires on one of my...

    Steelsoldiers’ BIG M756A2 Project!

I wouldn't be surprised if it was from the same unit, his still had the sharks on the doors too. I'll ask him where he bought it from next time I see him, I think he told me but I can't remember now. It's been out of service at least as long as yours. Some more Vietnam pics but not all navy...

    Interior Rearview Mirror?

The bracket from a GMC 2.5 ton fits, it would be easy to make a similar one.

    Steelsoldiers’ BIG M756A2 Project!

Keith's truck is only 11 numbers away: These two pics were posted on the site a long time ago: Not the best pic but I think the truck on the left is an m756: Seabees pipeline truck with the cargo bed in Vietnam 1970: Another one, not sure the year or location:

    Soft Top Ambulance cover?

    Maybe m792 gama goat?

    Just joined the Deuce club!

Looks like a m35 gasser fender to me, that's why it's so close to the engine. Later fenders had more clearance for the multifuel engines.

    Steelsoldiers’ BIG M756A2 Project!

That’s my friend Keith that bought the BII from recovry . That extra set of adapters ended up in VT.

Welcome and nice truck. The trailer looks to be an m101a1 model instead of an m105. Also the cover is on backwards.:)

    What is this truck pulling?

At a cost of over 200k when new.:-P I believe they're built by MCT Industries. A friend of mine got one for cheap at auction a while back that was only maybe 3 or 4 years old (no tools or genset). All 8 tires were flat spotted because they towed it with the brakes locked up. He changed out the...

    Towing M135 with a 5 ton M54

I don't think I saw it mentioned yet; 1" tow bar pins are often too big to fit the shackle mounts on the GMC trucks so keep that in mind.

What's missing in pic, plug? no plug?

    :ditto:Nothing is missing.

    shackles for my m1008

They're not 7/8", they're 1". Many civilian 1" shackles won't fit (too narrow for the mount) so your best bet is to post a want ad like 90jimmy said. Someone here will have an extra set.
