O.K. Thats what I thought, but even after all my reading and rereading I just wanted to make sure that I was not missing that one thing that was going to make me waste a seal and say a ton of words out in my driveway that the whole naiborhood would not need to hear.
Thanks for the replys, while...
I have done a search on the topic, read several good discusions that have alot of info.
I read Banshee 365's tech. article with the step by step pic. very well done write up.
I have the TM down loaded on the computer, makes it nice to just print the pages for what your working on take them out...
The number that jasonjc showed in his pic. is a Wagner # that should work just about any parts house.Advance shows it on there web site, I'm sure store stock would very, but a place to try if you need it now type thing.
Oh, O.K. if it has the some size kingpin and gladhands so it could be pulled by a civy. tractor I could give you a phone # of a trucking co. right up the road in Shippensburg that could pull it to there yard, store it and load it on your trucker at anytime.
If you would want there number P.M...
Hopefully the guy does have cancer.
Thats a little harsh, with all the stories out there if you choose to take the gamble and lose getting mad is one thing.
Wishing cancer on someone is way over the line. At least in my mind. Just had to add my 2cents.
I had the same problem all if mine looked like they were cot off flush with the top of the troop rack, half pulled right out, half of the rest I had to take the post off the troop rack and drive them out from the bottom, but I had two that I just about gave up on then the one finally broke loose...
You could put anything in an M35A2 that you want but you wil still just have a M35A2 built by some guy. To a true collector this is the real deal with numbers to prove it(hopefully) built by Cummins Military Systems.Could be what makes the differance between 5 or 6 of anything else. May have had...
To get away from the Dodge, Cummins thing and back to the M35E3C thing. The pics. show the singled out tires, power steering, different trans. muffler.I was wondering if anyone would know any other details like was this an early attempt at the E.S.P. some numbers of how many were done, seems...
A 3 inch 8 pt. 3/4 drive would be an OTC1907 avalable at truck parts supply houses, about 25.00. Don't recall what the name is on the wheel sockets that I have at work but our parts guy gets them for my at a real good price and they all use the same numbers as OTC.
Very good of you to help someone when you can, all of us have family or even your selfs that may need a hand sometime and would hope that a leading hand would be there.
Good tip about the jack, most carry tools and equpt. for our trucks, but a few smaller items for the other motorist assist is...
I like the idea of an keyed battery disconect switch that way keeps someone from playing around even if they aren't tring to steal the truck they won't be leaving lights or and thing on also with the batterys disconnected no worries about a short or drain on the batterys.
Someone had a post some...
Mine had a 4ft. flurlestion? light fixture in the bed never tried it out, was probley out in the weather too long.
For a while I was saying that I bought a 1800 doller light and they gave me a truck.
What m16ty talked about is what is called zippering, if a tire has had some type injuire like side wall curbing or run flat the risk is much higher. But even a new tire can do this that why ever truck tire should be caged when inflated. I was told that the biggest risk is within the first 40...
