    Odd wire issue

Looks like a fuse link. Cut it out and replace it with the same AWG fuse link. I think that is the in from the generator light on the dash. Will have to look at the TM to be sure

    Brake question M989 Trailer

How about the front glad hand vent. I believe it is the starboard front glad hand, it should have a vent in the cap to allow air back out and if clogged it will cause the brakes to stick. It wont let the air out of the trailer brakes if the vent is clogged.

    M816 Trailer Brake Valve

I have that but it really does not show where the lines actually go, it is like a stick figure type drawing but not specific as to the install of them to the air system. I was hoping I would see one close up so I could see where the air lines go and if in fact they are lines or plastic tube?

    M816 boom extention

I am one of those good ol' Jersey boys born and raised 5 min from Atlantic City. I am not lifting huge units, they at most would be 800lbs, they are just too big to hoist up a ladder lift. I am a licensed crane operator and asme cert welder from a previous life working for a concrete...

    M1008 Plow Question

every plow is different so wiring and kit info will change. I have the exact setup that willey10 has except I use the E-60 pump and don't use the MDII Lift arm but basically the same and I push a CP-8 blade with it and it works fine. You will need a relay on the slave plug if you go that route...

    M816 boom extention

Cool, a picture would be awesome. I want to try to make it look good and functional as well. That is similar to what I want it for but I also want to be able to set AC and Heat units on roofs of buildings. One of my customers is an HVAC guy and has to rent a crane about 3 times a month to do...

    M1008 Plow Question

Meyer makes a 24v pump in the E60 and E47 and also 24v controls. What I did was use a standard E-60 pump but installed the 24v motor so I can just plug it in to the slave plug(Had to add a relay) and then just wired the rest into the 12v side of the fuse block under the dash. The same with the...

    M816 boom extention

OK So here is something i have not seen or heard of anyone looking for. I need a little bit more reach with the boom on the m816 so I was thinking of building a lib for the end of the boom that would pin on. I understand that it would lower the lifting cab but I don't need weight just height...

    M816 Trailer Brake Valve

I think this is the correct spot for this as this is a factory option on the trucks and not really a mod. I have an M816 and it does not have the trolly brake setup for towing and I want to add it. I found an outlet for the correct handle/valve which is the same as the air valve for the rear...

    Lssv cucv

it is factory for dual alternators. It is an option that is mostly used for ambulances and fire trucks. Same with ford, dual alt option.

    Lssv cucv

That truck has been around on the eBay and many other auction sites for the past few years. If I remember correctly it was a custom built truck and was never intended for real use, mostly display and marketing for the air force. There were problems with the electrics and many other issues...

    M816 Wiring Question

Did that and it works fine. I see which wire it is in the diagram but can not find where on the chassis the ground lug is bolted. I found the one for the pass side light but the drivers side is a wire from the light to the harness and then is is all taped up and there is no terminals/rings or...

    M816 Wiring Question

So I did the search thing and looked in all the TMs and can not find it so here it is. I have a M816 with all oem wiring and I want t to stay that way. I have a bad ground on the drivers side headlight. The light is dim and the High Beam indicator lights up very dim when in Low beam mode...

    LED turn lights won't blink.

or just add a resistor to the front or rear lights to allow them to blink. I went to all LED lights on my bike and went to an electronic flasher and they still did not blink. I added a small resistor to the left and to the right turn circuits and it worked fine. No need to change the turn...

    Delco batterys

You get what you pay for. It would take like 10 Optima's to equal the 2 Odyssey's Check on the other forums and see what has the highest return rate? The Orbital cell battery of any brand even optima. They are just not that good.

    Delco batterys

The Interstate 6TL batteries only have a 1 year warranty and they use recycled lead and it is airated so the battery is lighter but also less performance. The gov did not switch to Optimas they are switching to Odyessy www.odysseybatteries.com and they are the cats arss. All Optimas are good...

    SF97-GSA Auction

I was just at the DMV on Tuesday in Cardif, NJ and I was having a very detailed conversation with the managers there about Government liquidation. He told me they do accept the SF-97 form and it is a very simple process to get a title and he said they do it all the time and it is while you...

    Power

Agreed. The isolated alternators will bench test good if the trio is weak but when installed in the truck in the OEM 2 stage wiring setup the gen light will be on dim and go out when you give it throttle. In defense of the alt guy. The OEM GM reg and trio are made by Motorola and under normal...
