if the lights dim then it means the alternator isn't providing juice and it is running off of battery power only. this can be an alternator problem or a wiring/grounding problem.
checked the net quickly but didn't see a ready source for these. trade secret? or care to pass along a source?
I have a 150 amp alternator i plan to install for my 5kw inverter, but want to get the battery bank figured out first.
based on the thread form back in ~2009? wiht M35Tom; I get the impression that not all the spring perches are the same as his shim flip resulted in only +4* caster (measured with a magnetic guage)
Seem that flipping the plates works if you have power steering otherwise use this method:

all the things you did were good - but i didn't see any mention of modifying the spring perch (caster adjustment)
some say you can flip them others (gringletaub) show a simple modification to grind out some material from inside the thicker side of the wedge to correct the caster for radial...
dismounted a couple of 395's that weren't seated and took on a ton of water in the hurricane. drained the water out of the tires then remounted and ether seated them. love those 2 piece rims.
you can - the machine time will take longer and they will be rediculously heavy. I really don't think it would ever be necessary. most adaptor plates people are using are 1/2" steel - these are 1.25" thick aluminum.
i dug up my CAD file for the adaptor last night and the info for the guy who...
why 7? these aren't something that you'd leave bolted to the wheels. it would stay on the hubs. yeah one machinist posted in this thread - I'll have to dig up the info of the one who made my set who is likely closer to you.
I stumbled on a nice replacement option and figured that I would update this thread with it.
available all over ebay - search "24v flashing buzzer"
it does both and probably not quite as anoying as the stock buzzer.
i've seen pictures of what you describe so i know it had been done and can be done. its just more labor - and unless you have free cheap labor... time is money.
