Those things have pretty hefty springs on them I would say your safe to haul just about anything unless your hauling concrete then you may want to watch how much you haul and now I am saying this under the asumption that you will be towing the M105A2 with a vehicle that has the ability to make...
I understand your pain rdrally there are alot of "oldheads" on the site that enjoy picking on newbies more new guys don't know that there are older posts about what your problem may be just let it roll off your back like water to a duck and just keep your head up you'll be alright for info...
Im with docfarmall people worry to much about getting permits just drive the mean green beaast and if some cop says something just play stupid that's what I would do.
Alrighty the 2 foot prices will work but the deuce headache rack will not they are too tall if you find the 2 foot pieces takes some pics if you can and let me know what you want for them. Thanks Michael
Still looking for the headache rack, 2 foot sections, troop seats, and bows for my M813A1 5 ton dropside cargo truck im really interested in fiberglass ones if any one has them please let me know thanks Michael
Sweet ride saw one at the Aberdeen show here in Maryland that thing is a beast sucks its so slow and terrible on fuel. Nice find though how's it ride? Im going to guess similar to a hay wagon?
The only thing I would worry about with stirring up alot of **** is that the government might just say ok if you want to bitch about our go sites then we'll just stop all GL surplus auctions and we'll just scrap everything and I definately wouldn't put the government past saying something like that.
I do know that wanted ads are not supposed to be in the forums only in the classified but I cannot seem to figure out how to post a wanted ad in the classified section. So that being said I need the headache rack, 2 foot sections, troop seats and bows for my M813A1 really only interested in...
Dam man 1500 bucks still sounds pricey for those trucks they look awfull RUFF for the price id definately low ball him if you want one of those personally id keep looking but that's me because Id rather pay more for a much nicer truck but its all personal preferance
Glad to hear that you got your gensets working and in the shape they were when you purchased them that's pretty messed up that someone actually unbolted parts from your gensets. A missing wheel chock or lug wrench isn't nothing really but to literally unholy parts takes some cahoonas.
I mean of course its up to the buyer but me personally I would not waste my money and time on any of those trucks they all look like they should have fallen to the torch already sorry bud but like the other guy said you should find a nicer truck to start with if you want to be able to drive it...
You definately don't want a gasser unless you feel like taking out a loan against your house to fill it up with gas. Not to sound like a **** bud but those things are RUFF!!!! how much is the guy asking for them?
No problem man now im not sure on the price anymore becuase i had mine done around 7 years ago so price may have increased **** place may not even be there anymore you know how companies disapear these days
@ lonegunman im with you like I said about the work truck thing has150,000+ and we run the piss out of it everyday so running the piss out of an A3 that has less than 1/4 the miles of our little dump truck I wouldn't worry about it
Make sure that at one time your winch was not reeled in to far bending the rear crossbar behind the winch in front of the radiator this could be causing your woes mine on my M813A1 is bent to **** now here is the fun part if it is bent to **** like mine its gonna be fun trying to straighten it...
@fedster67a I had converted an old ford from 2 to 4 wheel drive and nobody had the correct shaft so after many hours of digging in the junk yards I finally just bought a bent one and took it up to I believe A1 drive shaft or A1 driveline in Baltimore they did a good job and it only cost me...
I had to have a drive shaft retubed a couple years ago and it was pretty resonable about 125 bucks don't waste your time in the salvage yard because they fork all the vehicle also and there goes your drive shaft
