Hey guys, lets think this over a bit about what can be put in a Deuce for Power. It doesn't matter what is mated to the trans and drive train. Whether a 3406 Cat 425, 400 Cummins or the 5.9 Cummins,OR even a Small block Chevy!!! The Gears and the Drive train in where the strength is!! Take a...
RE: Re: RE: Stearing problem in M54 Bobed 5 Ton
There could be a different spect for front end alignment for Radials and or larger tires. I believe my TT was 1/8 in Toe in with radials. not sure with front wheel drive, or in UR case, 4x4. Sounds like U may have to experiment with it for a...
I would double check the measurements of the single rear axel. Be sure it runs Strait. Does the steering wheel return to center? Does it pull to one side or the other?Does it get worst under accelorating? If there is" Play", in the steering box, I believe it can be adjusted at the Box. Good...
With all the women in the military, I believe that is a Sleeper Cab, for Co Ed sleeping. What were the stats. on Desert storm, something like, There were more Pregnant women returning from combat than there were Wounded men!??
Why Sideing?

There are many vehicles in Iraq being used for Target practice by our own troops. Then the equipment is posted as being destroyed be our Enemies!!?? We are in a Recession and someone has to support the Big Corps." We need monies to replace the Goods lost in War!!", Say the Big Generals. The...
RE: Re: RE: bouncing deuce
Most any truck with Twin axles will give U the Hopping at certain speeds. Especially the Walking Beams like Deuces and Others. I have felt in even with Single spring Rayco Susp., and even with air susp. I thought it was great when I had a girl rideing with me and the...
Desert rat, What kind of truck U run thet cannot carry 10 tons? 10 tons is only 20,000lbs. I hauled regular loads of 120,0000 lbs with my 1984 KW900 with only 40,000 rears, 16,000 stears, and a 2 axel trl. A truck with 3 axels is normally rated at 50.000 without the trl. Dump trucks around here...
RE: Wheels
I have several Bolster trls and I believe the 16.5 wheels are interchangeable!!?? They don't go over the break drum, they are against the hub!?? Will test fit to a M105 someday.
Jdfordhd The only problem I see is is the John Deere. If U had a Kubota like mine, U would not be STUCK!!"Runs like a DEER", except when caught by a Kubota!! LOL Just kidding!! Nice looking piece of property! And U R doing a good job of taking care of it. Good Luck, Phil PS Please tell...

I am in contract with GL for a M818 which I bid on at Letterkenny. Is there anyone who can Inspect this vehicle for me and let me know if it can be driven or will I have to haul it to N.H. ?It may have dead batteries, but thats no issue. I am concerned with anything major wrong with it. I hope...
The only starter I know is quite large and it was the only one used in the 80s. I believe the 6.5 uses the same except in laters years. Maybe that is the gear reduction one that can be used. Again, the support bracket is the important item u need with the right bolts. The bracket is sometimes...
The civy 6.2 s have the support bracket also, and it is a must or u break the starter housing and I have see where the Block breaks where the bolts go in. The bracket is sort of U shaped, mounts on end of starter and side of block. I am sure a GM garage will have one, or a salvage yard. Dam, I...
