Oh alright. I guess that would make sense as the battery box and fuel tank are lower than the drivetrain, making whatever it would take to it the exhaust pretty extreme.
a waste gate like that would work. You could get fancy and get an electric one that would open when you turn on the truck and turn off when you shut it down.
Thunder Racing - Exhaust Cut-Outs
I was thinking of doing something similar when i get my deuce, except with one stack. I haven't been under a deuce in a while and was curious how much space there was under the truck to run the exhaust pipes?
You could put a raincap on it so when the engine is off it closes the exhaust. I would still suggest putting a jug or something over it when you don't use it for long periods of time so that if the rain cap happened to blow open, stuff wouldn't get inside.

you would have to have a master cylinder that is designed to work with drum brakes as well as disc because disc brakes take less fluid movement to operate than drums, or you would have to have a serious proportioning valve
It would be a more powerful parking brake i would think. I would only...
x2 on the brakes. the brakes are designed around small trucks with big axles and tires. This very common and mainly to get the heavy brake assembly off the axles to save weight.
I was just curious because if i get one before i am out of college there is going a time that i would probably cross the pass during the mandatory "chains on vehicle" time and was wondering if there would be enough room.
I found a couple chain sets for 11.00-20.

He got the tires through 100dollarman.
going with 11.00-20 is probably the easiest tire swap on the deuce, I think. ODNORTH has the, on his deuce and looks like they were meant to be there. and you can run them with stock rims in a dually configuration.
look at the gearing of the trucks. 6.72:1!!!! you are right. these trucks really, were designed to run a 45 mph all day long. period. you don't see new cars floating down the road at the redline just barely pulling highway speed.
well the deuce would just run the corvette over if he panic...
