    also ive heard that instead of using an nv4500,i can get a certain chevy bell housing that will bolt up to the 5-speed in the deuce and then buy an adapter to bolt the cummins up to the chevy bell housing. i would like to use the stock tranny instead of the nv4500.

    a 6.2 or 6.5 is no where near as good as a 5.9 cummins...even if they were twin turbo'd... my opinion. id defenatly go with a 5.9 cant beat a cummins[thumbzup]
