ok thanks I managed to get it jumped attaching the charger to the outside terminals neg. on one and pos. of the other

Just don't do what I did!! go off roading and bend the piston shaft that hangs below your axle!! ask me how I know and have to drive back barly able to steer..

I (machine shop) FINALLY repaired my cylinder with the bent main piston rod. got the thing apart took the rod to a friends shop and he bent it back straight again... re-installed all is well again works just like before!! cost..$0!! (just six pack) savings of a (rebuild...

now that im FINALLY mostly recovered from Spinal surgery, I can catch up on refining my used oil, and working of the Deuce again!!! (air steering cylinder) I missed the whole summer!!! and spring
On my way to Sunnyside WA. I see a 5 ton and a deuce (with super singles) and a tan mil. trailer for sale on a ranch type lot with large building next to farm sprinklers equipment type yard..... Just wondering if this person is on this board or anyone knows of this person?

thank you both for fore Ideas, I will probably try the pressurize method but not use much of it as it is no longer on the vehicle. I only have the deuce air supply to draw from.
in your 2nd pic can you confirm after removing the snap ring, if you had to unscrew/ twist the end out?

I have an old( 41 yrs) Air-O-Matic cylinder that I need repaired as the main piston is bent a little.
I was told that this type of cylinder is is disassembled by unscrewing it from the piston end.
I have already removed the snap ring, but the aluminum end refuses to budge and there are...
