The TM calls for the same oil in both the compressor and engine. "LUBRICATING OIL, Internal combustionengine, heavy duty, MIL-L-2104, Grade 30"
I'll give the non-detergent 30w a try.
What type of oil is called for in the small Zwick compressor and engine, Wisconsin I believe.
I have only seen a reference to a mil-L-2104 which looks to be a single 30 grade synthetic.
Is there a better or easier to find equivalent? What's everyone using?
Can the following be used? How would it be different from operating an electronic brake controller on a trailer with electric brakes?

Non commercial for sure. I do not have a CDL but am considering one for other projects. I will not be going long distances either unless I have found a new fangled way to haul stuff home from govliquidation. :naner:
I'll be pulling the M720 loaded with a forklift, within 10 miles. My tow rating...
So what is the answer in this case? I have a 4000lb tow rig and a 6000lb M720 with functioning brakes. As this is an abnormal towing method, I have found nothing on the pitfalls or cautions.
I've got a pallet jack and a dual wheel dolly that need taken of base.
I have a new car from out of state and either the sheriff inspection or the tax office goofed my registration numbers. A thorough guard will catch it and not allow me onto base.
I can meet to pick up the items outside...
Thanks for the info and tips! I'll try the 12V jump start.
The tank I have is steel and wanted a used replacement but if the tank has brazed fittings, I'll brush up on my torch technique and attempt the swap.
Has anyone tried a 12V to 24V transformer on the starter?
And are there and suggestions on a replacement fuel tank? The filler neck was distorted enough on mine to require a new cap, filter and tank. I've only found standard replacements without the extra taps and such.
