Adapting the gladhand to an airhose

Left gladhand is for trailer brakes. Right gladhand is emergency air. Use the right side glad hand.

    California Central Coast Beach Run

Boy, would I love to do that. But fuel from Northeast Orygun and back would bust me. :cry:sigh...

M109 pilfered at GL Ft. Riley

I recovered my truck from Fort Lewis two months after the auction closed (EUC issues). I was only missing a dash light cover, and since the bulb and threads were clean, I think the taking was relatively recent, though I wasn't smart enough to copy the pics off the listing before GL took them...

New M35 Vinyl Cab Covers Khaki

I bought one this morning, even though I don't have a tan truck. I'm curious if this price is a jeep-in-the-crate.

Deuce brake locks up on reverse

Weather permitting on Puget Sound in late November. Now there's an interesting notion....:razz::razz:

M35 Chicago Area to Munising, MI

Toxic fumes aside, an open combustion heater puts out LOTS of water vapor. If you use a camping heater, you'll be scraping frost from the INSIDE of the windshield. Voice of experience.

    Boarding ladder

Ladder arrived today. Definitely NOS with MFG tag and serial number. Aluminum construction, with 383 green paint, very light weight. Ropes, rail, safety pin for rail, and canvas straps that I'd guess are to lash it to a troop seat or headboard. Sticker showing how to mount with tailgate up...

Deuce brake locks up on reverse

Rear shoe would be my guess. Is there an upper spring?

    Latest addition to the family

Well done, WSU. I was in love with your paint job. As to availability of trucks--I hope Carnac is right. That said, the turning in of trucks, and the availability of those trucks to citizens, are not necessarily related. We could be only an executive order away from demilling trucks...

    Wow, EUC Approval Already!

Took me four tries to get mine past the EUC police at GL. After that, it took about a month.

    Boarding ladder

Boarding ladder--->PICS ADDED Welp, at the Vet's day parade last Saturday, I watched my three sixty-ish gravity challenged buddies, in full field gear of course, lumber up a folding aluminum ladder into the back of the deuce to ride in the parade. I'm also thinking I might offer other vets a...

How are you storing your Deuces? (Plural)

I work for the state of Washington, Cougarx, and I know rednecks just ain't appreciated proper-like over on the wet side. And I didn't vote for him either.

    Is DOT 3 Fluid OK?

I've had zero problems with the two trucks that are running DOT 5, and recurring problems with those running DOT 3. I'm thinking about changing all my MV's to DOT 5. I think it's possible that DOT 5 is more tolerant of long periods of inactivity than is DOT 3. Just a thought. Does...

    Good or bad idea...

BPJ911's committed. Even though it's something I wouldn't try, I wish him success. As I approach 60, I can tell you that I've done plenty of stupid things in my life, and gotten away with most of them. Also, I've been in situations where I had a picture in my mind's eye that I was sure would...

Insurance for a mid 80's M35A2 in Georgia?

J C Taylor says locked garage. I don't have one that big, but wouldn't make a theft or vandalism claim under the circumstances. I'm mostly worried about liability when I drive it. They're typically about $100 a year per vehicle. I'm looking at a quote now for 3 MV's, values 4K, 6K and 8K...

How are you storing your Deuces? (Plural)

Well, lemme see... I live in the country on two acres. About half is occupied by house, yard, and shop. Leaves me one acre of open ground. 1 acre = 43000 square feet. Truck occupies about 10 by 25=250 square feet. That means 1 acre can store 173 trucks. Woo-hoo !! 169 trucks to go !!!:-D
