Thanks everyone! I do have the TMs. I don't know why I typed that I didn't know the bolt size because I had that, I just didn't know the hardness of the bolt. I didn't want to buy a bolt that would end up snapping. Thanks for the answer to the hardness. I think next time I am going to buy the...
Can someone please tell me the size and hardness of the bolts that connect to the rotor? I replaced my left front halfshaft today and I want to replace them. Do I also need to replace the bolt that attaches it to the hub? Last one, I promise. The bolts on the rotor only had the split lock...
Never mind. I think that is for the transmission. Does anyone know the Napa, etc part number and tool I can get to replace the transfer case shift shaft seal?

Good Morning. I need to replace the shift seal on the transfer case. Can someone tell me if this is what I need for the job? Also, will I need to drop the transfer case to do it? Sorry for the link. I know they usually expire...
I want to thank you guys and resolve this thread in case anyone has the same problem in the future. You all are great and I appreciate the help and advice! I installed the starter after getting it back and she fired right up. Exactly the problem that was suggested. There were problems...
I do too. That's why I want to make sure I use the correct gauge. I'm pretty sure in the post "glow plug gospel" even mentioned making your own. I just want to make sure I'm doing it right.
I think I may have been a little muddy in explaining what I want to do. That's my fault. I want to make the harness that kascar sells and everyone recommends installing. I have seen how to make it explained on flashoffroad but I think he uses 8 or 10 gauge wire. I'm not replacing any existing...
It's the 4 wire grounding kit from Kascar:

I already have the 12 gauge wire because it's all I could find. I just need to know if 12 gauge will work or should I return it and look for 10 gauge.
I am going to make my own grounding harness like the one sold online and all I could find at the two hardware stores and tractor supply is 12 gauge. Is this big enough for the ground or should I continue my search for 10g? Thanks.
I looked for Dexron III in the auto store today and couldn't find it. The sales guy told me the Castrol Transmax Dex/Merc was the same as Dexron III and was safe to use. Has anyone used this or know if this is safe to use? I'm changing fluids tomorrow while waiting for my starter to be rebuilt...
So, I dropped the starter and the teeth on the fly wheel and starter looked fine. When I bench tested the starter the gear would spin but not pop out. I cleaned the contacts and flipped the disk in the solenoid. Bench tested again and the same: gear spun but would not extend. I'm assuming that...
