Homemade trailer. Lunette ring is too small

I have done some searching online and I still cant find a lunette ring with 3'' ID with the 4 bolt hole attachment. I have found some 3'' rings but they are the 2 bolts through the channel iron mount. I already have the trailer made for the 4 bolt mount. So I guess my options now are to do some...

Homemade trailer. Lunette ring is too small

It is nothing special, I built it from mid 70's IH grain truck. Pretty much a big "pickup box" trailer that was reinforced with 1/2'' steel. I will try to get pics for you guys. Oh and I will be painting it OD when I get the time.:D

Homemade trailer. Lunette ring is too small

I built a homemade trailer to pull behind my duece around the ranch. I bought a 4 bolt 35,000 lb lunette ring from "The hitch store". I finally got the trailer done this weekend and when I went to hook it up, the pintle on my duece was too big for the lunette ring. I looked and could not find...

    Fair price on a deuce?

You pretty much hit the nail on the head wreckerman. I have not seen many for sale in this area. I will be using this truck for work more than play and am needing one soon. My plan is to use it to haul hay. I just hate spending too much for anything so I always try to do my research before...

    Fair price on a deuce?

I am a little bit of a newb when it comes to the duece. There is a 1983 model duece for sale near me and I am wondering if they are asking a fair price. It has 34,000 miles on it. It has the stakes and hoops for the tarp on the back but no tarp. It is a hardtop with a heater. No winch on it. The...

A little 5-ton buying advice needed...

He also said that it has 16,000 miles on it. the front driver windshield and passenger side windows are cracked also. So do you guys think I should try to get him to come down some? I really need something to haul some hay with and I think this thing could get the job done if I werent haveing to...

A little 5-ton buying advice needed...

Yeah I was thinking he was asking a little much for it. He also said he would ship it for my for just the cost of the fuel to get it here which is about 120 miles away. Maybe I am not looking hard enough but I just have not seen many for sale locally?

A little 5-ton buying advice needed...

It has the multifuel diesel engine. Sorry no pics. If I did have pics it would look pretty good from afar. But up close and personal you can tell that it sat for 2 years and is a little beat up. I'm not worried about the cosmetic stuff.

A little 5-ton buying advice needed...

Ok so I took a look at an M-39 5-ton 6x6 this weekend. Here is a little info of what I found out about it. It had been sitting for 2-3 years when the guy who is selling it bought it. He brought it home and got it running. The place that is selling the 5-ton is a home building center. He deals...

Using a 5-ton to haul hay

This looks like it works ok? It does not appear to have a "drop side" box. However I'm sure the drop side would work much better as you stated.

Using a 5-ton to haul hay

I am thinking about buying a 5-ton 6x6 to haul 6ftx6ft round hay bales. The sales guy that I talked to says that it has a box on it. He has no info on it at all because they just got it in and the mechanics are going over it before they put it up for sale. I guess what I am wondering is what...
