    Nylon Radiator Fan?

I'm no expert but in my years I have seen several metal fan failures but have not seen a nylon fan fail. Not saying they don't but I have not seen one yet. That would be a plus in the long run. Also you can't bend a blade and throw the balance off. 2cents

    LDT-465 rebuild

I know one thing I would put on my list of components to replace if possible would be the rod bolts. I remember there being a post about someone trying to get them made but I don't remember the outcome. I would defiantly have the rods magnafluxed and as Clinto indicated having the rotating...

Getting tired of the same ole thing..

I think a charcoal gray/black would be very nice looking. Are you thinking about doing the traditional military interior or more of the civvy style like the one you just did.

    Pyrometers

The “K” type thermocouple generates a voltage dependent on temperature. That way you do not need a power source for the pyrometer. That is why I went with the isspro turbocator. No need to have a power source unless you want a light.

How do you do an initial setup of an MEP-003A

I just checked to verify that I had all new filters installed correctly, engine oil and fresh diesel in the tank. I used the prime/run setting to purge the fuel system until I heard the fuel returning to the fuel tank then pre-heated for 60 seconds and started it. I found that I needed to do...

Question on changing gear ratio and locker?

I put a Detroit TruTrac in my 89 V1500 Jimmy, same as the K5 Blazer and loved it. No special lubes like the clutch units. No clutches or springs to wear out and seamless smooth operation in the snow. I put well over 200K on the TruTrac with no problems. 2cents

    MEP-002a / 003a guage size?

I have wanted to hookup a “voltage band relay” to the fuel shutoff solenoid for the same reason. Although it won't kill the engine in the event of a frequency excursion it will shutdown on over/under voltage. http://www.weisd.com/test/WEISD_TBL_view.php?editid1=MACVWKPU
