    air governor

I forgot how to test the air governor without removing it from the firewall, which I replaced a couple years ago. My truck isnt building up air pressure at all. It just happened a few days ago after a cold spell. My Bendix DB-9 air dryer inlet is a PITA to get the line off and see if I got flow...

    Continental's CMD-350; a 350HP multifuel engine

I had a TD6 that worked that way. you could actually run it on gas, with less power for a while, but the gas tank only held about a gallon. I would forget to switch over sometimes. after it was warmed up, it would start on high compression with the diesel. that system would seem to be better...

    Current M35A2 value?

Im jumped from CA. to N. Idaho. the only time I've ever been pulled over was because I passed a ST at triple digits on my MC about 10 years ago. He let me go with a warning.

    Current M35A2 value?

I seen that 36K deuce on CL. Im sure people are standing in line to pay 20K over market value. at some point, regardless of all the upgrades, and especially maintenance costs, you still will only get market value at 10-15K for a excellent condition deuce.

    centrifuge versus sock filtering.

well after 10 months waiting, my Filtermaxx brand centrifuge is on its way. They had problems getting materials, motors etc and finally built mine. Now I got to hope UPS doesnt drop kick it all the way from Florida to here.

You'll be fine, ive done it with some china diesels a few time because they were only available from Alibaba (and the 1.2 billion thieves) in lots of 50.

    1966 Deuce without starter relay

so its built in or attached to the starter like a chevy? they would still wire the same. a wire to the solenoid relay and the + cable to the large post. probably a1 or 2 wires along with the + cable connection for accessory and panel power.

    Piston pin bearing replacement

if it has a lower oil ring with the two bands on the side of it, they have to be perfectly seated on each side, or it will do that, especially where the ends meet. I use Lucas assembly lube too. its sticky and gets on everything even if you dont touch it somehow.

    Patracy's deuce refresh and upgrade

good pics. and the rear pic reminded me I have to weld up the bumper where I backed into a tree and split it down the middle. I should take a pic of it.

    Air tanks lined?

use a cigarette lighter and see if those chunks burn like oil or like some plastic type coating. the compressor always dumps oily crap in the tanks as the intake is at the engine or in some cases air filter.

Another of my woefully ignorant threads - suspension upgrade

just put some overload shocks, or dual shocks from a off road shop in the front. im sure the back can handle 500lbs more weight......mine does when my BIL is back there eating pizza and drinking beer.

    M35A2 Aftermarket Radiator Install Thread

I bought hose sleeves from Carquest for another project. I think they come in 1/4 in and 1/2 in increments.

    Hydraulic head fuel leak

thats drilled. PM " Rustystud" and ask him about it. maybe there is a ball and spring behind it or its a vent, but it looks intentional, not a defect.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

put the snow plow on the truck preparing for winter. I may leave it on year round because no matter where I put it in the spring time, its either in the way or hard to re attach in the fall because of terrain.
