Can someone help me install a "newer" voltage regulator to my genset...

Wow... $3600.00 that is $1800.00 I don't have and $1800.00 that they would charge... wow... that is pricey... I need a cheaper solution... maybe my wife on a stationary bike witha belt driven Genset... -:) Even running straight 24V would not be too bad... 246 V would be within 20% of the 240V...

    Anyone recognize this Genset?

Thanks Rusty, but the more I look at it it seems to be more of an rpm controller or a limiter-after cleaning it a bit, it says... synchro-? and just below it label says... speed sensitivity set ... here is a pic... sure would love to have a wiring diagram...

    Anyone recognize this Genset?

Engine runs like a sewing machine (a loud one) but engine has a gizmo (lack or better term) that sticks out the side of the fuel injection pump that has 3 wires going to it... wires are cut, and have no clue what its purpose was... looks almost like a sideways distributor, but has 3 12 ga wires...

    Anyone recognize this Genset?

How do I ask if another member recognizes a pic of my Genset? I have what I believe is a 15KW Diesel Genset with apparently low hours, but has not been run in many a year. I cannot find the ID plate since it was completly disassembled , prior owner was planning on sandblasting and painting and...

    MY Airpack Rebuild with Photos!

I don't know if or what the airpack had on the rebuild... If the pedal went to the floor, I would suspect the master cylinder. Either way, I have learned to believe that new... usually means New to Me -:)... I guess like Emos used to say about underwear... I chose to rebuild my own... this way...

    MY Airpack Rebuild with Photos!

About 1 and a half year ago I replaced both my master cylinder and my airpack with NOS units. Used DOT 5 and all was well or so I thought... yesterday I was taking my Deuce fire truck to get a paint touch up when I saw a river of Dot 5 coming from the vent tube.. maybe it was an old unit that...

Brake Fluid coming out of Vent in engine bay...

Well... 1+ year ago I got a new one... and yesterday I was going for a ride about... only to find a pool of brake fluid under the vent... hmmmm... maybe if I had rebuilt it and done it right, I would not be holding up a Christmas parade because of a bad air pack... I am rebuilding my next...

Want to put A/C in a M925A1... anyone got pictures of their install?

As soon as you have a deal in mind please advise. If you forget who I am, just look at the first post in this thread. I have been otherwise occupied and have not had much time to follow up on my quest, but this might divert me back. Congrats!
