    M35 Injector Line Ferrules

The part numbers I will get down the road if they work out, or I will buy a bunch and have them available. I am sure the company would not be too happy if they get all sorts of calls for 10cent parts to be shipped. This is a compression fitting, but is nothing like a standard compression fitting...

    M35 Injector Line Ferrules

I recently found out that the injector line going into the IP was leaking. I can only assume that the ferrule is leaking. It appears that most just replace the line, but me being me I went out and found ferrules. Whether this all works or not I found a good diesel shop in the area. It appears...

    ABERDEEN 2008!

I am going again for sure. This time I should be much better as I know better what to expect. Are we doing a Steelsoldiers area group buy again? Last year I sublet from Bkubu.

    Thanksgiving frugality

I have all the M105 wood sides you could ever need. I am out on bows though. Shipping could be a pain though. I also have just the metal uprights from that had damaged wood.

Spin on seconndary fuel filter adapters

Sasquatch it appears that you ordered the wrong brand of 4309 filter base. The NAPA base is just like the one in Devilman's technical article, and I believe the one he sells on his website. Compare the pics and you will see that the one he suggested is a simple in and out on each side. Devilman...

    M35 Leaking IP

Well the plot has thickened with my IP head leak/injector line leak. I got home ok, and am just about back to diesel fuel. I noticed thhat my IP did not leak at startup, but only after driving a few miles. I don't know if this is casued by thinner fuel or expansion of the metal parts. It...

    M35 Leaking IP

I am thinking that it probably is an injector line too. I have one that has no rubber boot over where it goes into the IP. Perhaps the furrel got corroded. Are the ferrels replaceable? Any good sources for them and the rubber boots? Anyways I am not going to mess with them until I am at home. I...

    M35 Leaking IP

I am thinking I have left a trail of drips behind me on my current Thanksgiving holiday travel from Richmond, Va. to Raleigh, NC. My injection pump is leaking around the hydraulic head. To me it looks like it coming from the very top of the IP like under that thin plate that is ontop of the...

Deuce Arctic Heater Info Compilation Thread

Ok I apparantly have TMphobia like many around here. I overcame my fear of 700-1500page manuals with a little help from some of the guys last evening. Wow! I think I have most the information I need for this. I have the routing of wire/exhaust/fuel, needed controllers, locations, etc. The only...

    My M105A2 on Craigslist

Oh well I had to try  That really is a nice trailer from the looks of it. Hey could you post a few pics of the A3's emergency brake system. Like from the tank and forward on the underside. Good excuse for some bumps too 8)

Deuce Arctic Heater Info Compilation Thread

The pic that Bjorn posted above clearly shows a controller labeled as the engine heater. It show one switch being HI/LO, a light, and then a START/OFF/RUN switch. Once I have the heater at home I should have a better idea on this though as it appears to have the wiring diagram on the data plate...

    Loose door glass

I was just looking at my window, and I imagine a thin shim of teflon sheeting in the C-channel at top would most likely fix most of it. I know there were some NOS M35/5ton doors sold this past year at Aberdeen. Has anyone installed them, and how are they?

Deuce Arctic Heater Info Compilation Thread

Well I have been poking at this for a few days now, so I thought I should mention I just won one of these units. Just the heater though, so I will have to figure out the installation. It takes the 5 plug cable. I am working on a cable now, but don't yet have any leads on the controller. I...

    Loose door glass

All the above sound exactly like what my deuce does on the drivers side door. obviously something has some wear on it.

    M35 oil pressure and idle

I did not realize there was an actual idle adjustment screw on the IP. Both of my trucks in current adjustment require idle adjustment with the pull lever. Currently I have have it pulled out maybe halfway to get the 1000RPM idle.

    My M105A2 on Craigslist

Nice trailer. Sorry to hear you have to sell it. Do you deliver? I know it is a long drive, so I could meet you in West Virginia.

Deuce Arctic Heater Info Compilation Thread

For me the battery relocation is a big problem, so I would have to find another solution. I plan to remove the bench and replace it with a spring ride, so I lose that space where the batteries could go. I would think of making a more compact heater installation, and perhaps making a smaller...

    Blasting Cabinets

I agree with Clinto that Blast-it-all makes a really nice blasting cabinet. Zero and Empire are also a good brands. TPTool also makes a nice cabinet just a step below, and is a great place for various supplies. Unless I needeed one quickly I would look for any industrial auctions in your area...

Deuce Arctic Heater Info Compilation Thread

Does convection actually work well in a deuce? I would imagine a pump even if external would be prefered even if it cost a few more amps. I was looking at my battery compartment compared to the above picture of the mounted heater, and it certainly does not look like there would be enough room...

    Wrecker Light Bar

I had made up some individual lights for towing my other deuce home, but I had problems with keeping everything where I wanted it. This looks much easier, and self contained. Would someone be willing to take some measurement of the bar, so that I can copy it? What are the dimensions of the...
