Years ago with GL, I picked up a deuce near the address you gave. It was a pain going through security.

Looked to me like a bad case auction fever. It will wear off just like the paint after the first car wash. Same day and prior weeks sold cleaner M1123's for a third of the price. I suspect that truck will be relisted.
Over the last few weeks, I have noticed several 1123's at Barstow with terrible fresh paint jobs. Some have even included fresh footprints in the paint along with painted gravel. Someone is simply masking of the gauge/lights and painting over the dirt/rust. While most 1123's go for under 10k...
I submitted mine on 8/4 and will be out of the country for a two weeks at the end of September. How much do you wanna bet that its approved while I'm unavailable? My status just says EUC form printed.
I installed the same Surepower unit about three years ago and it runs flawless. Enough power to run a 12v transfer pump. Batteries are always equal. Before the Surepower, I use to be forced to swap battery positions every month or so. I left the DUVAC wired up in place just incase the...
As far as I know, the miltary did not have the block heater on the CUCV. I installed a common block heater in mine. I then replaced all of the glow plugs and learned that it starts fine without the heater down to about 10 degrees.
So I spent a few hours yesterday swapping out my old starter by myself. The old starter worked always cold but once the truck reached operating temp, it would take a light precise hammer blow to the solenoid to start it. So I thought the solenoid was bad.
So after the new to me (working take...
I submitted my paperwork about a month ago and havent heard a thing! The DMV clerk charged me $230 for my historical registration. Aslong as the clerk pushed the paperwork through, I wasnt going to argue there at the DMV. I feel like I paid too much. I will work on the price, once the plate...
I used the Wagner paint sprayer and it worked perfect for this job. Im very happy with the paint and it makes the truck look almost new. I sanded the front a little and then shot over it. Im 99% sure that the multifuel engine rebuild data plate says 1997 although it is very small.
I went to the DMV about three weeks ago and submitted my historical vehicle paperwork for my M109. Lucky its a Jeep-Kaiser so the cleck though it was a normal military jeep. SHe charged me $240 and said it will take at least 3 for my plates. The $24 0seemed a litte high but its worth the plates...
So I showed up early at Barstow and did a quick look over on the truck. I did not inspect this truck before bidding so it was a crap shoot. I was surprised! The truck was over hauled recently and everything looked brand new under the hood. The engine data plate was date 9/97. The truck even had...
