    Its the same as an oil burner set up, NY has lots of those dont they? force in Air, force in fuel, toss in an igniter and you got heat

    You cant hear it sputtering because the fan wind noise, thats why i tried to get burner in video but heater is hard to get to the back where its placed.

    remove and clean the burner, also adjust the igniters while you are in there, check bottom of burn chamber for fm, verify exhaust is clear and free flowing, verify ‘fire eye’ sensor is looking straight down the tube clean fuel filter again.... you said sediment bowl, there should be brass...

    Decrease fuel pressure, after first test fire. better to have not enough than too much and flood the chamber sounds like it wasnt clean burning if the sight window was dirty

    I think you are running wayyyyy too much fuel psi, try 90 psi or less. I am only running 70? Psi , ithink. Also i think max waste oil would be like 20% or less. I think I remember reading about waste oul use but don’t remember the number

    Hanging the k8, was more of a cooling effect rather than a grounding issue. I drilled holes in one k 8 that was being problematic to manually operate the switch inside, but there was no need to manually operate it, it went to work and is working to this day in a body shop

    Doggod10, are you having issues? if so,post up your questions. Triton, I have one extra, but I have never fired it and have controlled exchanged parts. I do know of one I sold that might be for sale. will make a call.

    take it to a oil heater shop, this is almost the same as a oil heater for the home, it uses like parts, but since its military its numbers wont match exactly.

    Did you remove the whole burner assy? or just the cover? If you removed the burner assy, check and double check the spark gap and alignment to the injector. When you say fuel but no spark, when you view the burner chamber thru the peep sight, you have no blue spark while in vent mode?

    Check the flame sensor for proper alignment. The sensor is held in place with a rubber tube, tube gets hot, then cools down and pulls the sensor out of alignment. Not the greatest enginerding , had 1 heater that had to be re-engineered with plastic ties to keep it in place.

    Isaac, was this out of an army use heater that probably got psi washed? or was it from a long term storage, real 1 hour heater?

    its mounted on the inside, next to the switches. the only way i know is with a clamp over dmm that has amp and put it on max hold. then its just a process of clamping over each wire on the junction block to find the one that is pulling the amps. has that breaker been tripped alot of times...
