    CUCVii Suburban Clone Build

@hrbergeron reproduction and was selling the brushguards on FB and Ebay. PM him and he may have some left. He also does ship IIRC. Is this a real surplus unit or a add on

Looks like quite a well built truck. I do not believe that it was originally a tractor unless someone went through all the work of removing the tractor specific fuel tank, adding a regular toolbox back, relocating air tanks back in between the frame, etc

You would be better off finding an SM465 (4 speed with direct 4th gear) or NV4500 (5 speed...

However, I bought it with the voltage and load gauges not working. It came with a replacement voltage gauge and I just installed it and nothing changed...

    Hello from New York

You are right, it is a cut down M809 series bed. This is what an M35A2C bed is supposed to look like. The head board you have is correct for an 5 ton bed. If you put a Deuce headboard on, it will stick up above the troop seats.

Just spitballing...winching out your own deuce while alone.

The Garwood winch on the front of the M35 series is in fact a 10,000 lbs winch. When combined with a single pulley snatch block, the capacity of the winch is doubled giving you a 20,000 lbs winch. Adding additional, or multiple pulley snatch blocks will increase you capacity. Here is a link to...
