Thanks DUG for writing this all out. I thought I was the only one going through this process lol. I agree with the "buy a complete kit" method. I got a whole bunch of random stuff for $800 (Mint hardtop, D turbo, winch, gasser pto shaft, two PTO's, tail lights, emergency brake shoes, brake...

I wouldn't mind once overing on that truck. I could use aot of stuff off of it. Bumper extensions, (if their there) control levers and their mounts for the winch, headache rack?, etc... lots of good stuff.

If you pay 75 for that converter before shopping around... you deserve to get ripped off

I'm going to just throw this out there and you can take it for what it's worth. I tried to order selectro's from discount4wheel and they never had them in stock, they played the "they'll be in Friday" game and charged me twice. I sent emails and I made phone calls, finally after a few more...

That is such a good looking truck! I like your seat idea as well. The only thing I can add constructively is this. I haven't used it yet, but it seems like an effective and cheap solution to sound insulation without bulking up on dynamat. You can paint, primer, sand, etc on it and it's water...

What is the size of the hose, 3/4 or 1/2"?

The M109 he picked up has 11's on it. Also that truck will get up and go, compared to the other M35a2C that's in his back yard.

I've been reading a whole lot, and there seem to be alot of good modifications to do to your deuce, but what would be the first modification that you believe would be the greatest benefit to you?

Is this a C turbo or D turbo?
